Pomeroy was fully devoted to magic and he knew the history of how magic developed and grew with the modernization of rhe west coast, especially in the state of Washington in general and the city of Seattle in particular. Between his own participation and considerable research he was able to piece together a time-line of magic acts that grew out of the early days of Seattle.

Anyone interested in the beginnings of magic in Seattle would gain a lot of information here. As time went on, every major magic show came to Seattle as it was a busy port to the rest of the world. This is a truly historical work worth noting.
